Erica Michaud
Erica Michaud is instructor of guitar, violin and fiddle at the Michaud Music Studio in Sodus in addition to The Citadel Dance and Music Center in Benton Harbor where she teaches both private and group lessons. Many of Erica’s students are members of the local youth orchestras and bands. Her students consistently receive top scores in state solo and ensemble festivals and many have participated in the Michigan all-state honors orchestra. Many of Erica’s fiddle students have place in the top three in the Shady Grove Fiddle Contest in Berrien Springs MI. Erica has won 3 fiddle contests, recorded two c.d.s and enjoys performing locally and abroad.
Erica Michaud studied Music Education at Andrews University where she studied violin with Carla Trynchuk. She has also completed Suzuki Method training for books 1-3 under Carla Trynchuk, Carrie Ruening and Geri Arnold. Erica started teaching at the age of 13 and has continued to share her passion for music for over 18 years.
