Citadel STRING Program for LMC Students
Group Lessons held at the Citadel Music Center on Monday or Tuesday once a week- Classes meet 1 hour between 330-530 - schedule depends on enrollment & instrumentation
- Students ride LMC shuttle to Citadel – Parents pick them up at Citadel
- Beginning instruction on violin, viola or cello for 4th-6th grade Continuing instruction for 5th-10th graders
- Instructors – Susan Dietrich-Reed & Beth Oeseburg
- Students must rent or own appropriate size instrument
- Fee: $200 per semester *Financial & Instrument Assistance may be available
- Parents MUST Attend Sept 11 or 12th informational parent meeting
(Last May- Recruitment Concert by the St Joseph High School Chamber Orchestra for grades 3-5)
- Sept 11 - Follow-up String demos 4th & 5th grade at Elem - AM 6th Grade @ MS in PM
- Sept 11 - Parent Informational Meeting at LMC Elem 3:30 OR Sept 12 at Citadel 7pm
- Sept 23 & 24 - String Classes begin at Citadel
- Dec 16 & 17 - Informances at Citadel May 18-19 - Infiormances at Citadel
- May 18 - Possible participation on Spring Instrumental Concert at Bandshell
Citadel PIANO Lessons for LMC Students
- Tuesdays & Thursdays after school at LMC Elementary beginning Sept 10th
- Students receive a 30' private lesson once a week between 2:50 – 5:30pm
- Openings for NEW students in grades 2-3 will be dependent on available spots
- Students must have a piano or approved keyboard at home
- Instructor - Candace Onweller LMC After School Care available
- Fee - $375 per semester Students must participate in Spring recital
- Required Parent Meeting for beginners & continuing students – Thursday Sept 5th 3:30pm at LMC
