Private Lessons

Dream it.

Our comprehensive music instruction on all instruments and voice serves over 200 students. A professionally trained faculty of 20 experienced and enthusiastic teachers offers instruction for individuals ages 5  through adult.  Kindermusik Young Child Level 1 is strongly encouraged for ages 5-7 prior to private lessons on age appropriate instruments.  Many of our instructors are active performers, members of various symphony orchestras and other musical ensembles, and artists-in-residence at area schools.

Lessons range between 30″ (norm) with 45″ & 60″ lessons available for older & advanced students. 30" lesson cost is $29-$32. 45' lesson cost is $37-$42. 60' lesson cost is $52-$57. Please call or email for additonal lesson fee information and to schedule. Lessons occur once a week.

Lessons can be started at any time throughout the year. Family scheduling is accommodated and instrument assistance may be available. Kindermusik® is also offered in terms for infants through age seven who may be too young for traditional lessons.

Regular practice and preparation for lessons is expected. Other policies and procedures will be communicated at registration. A Spring Recital series is held and participation is required. Mid-year recitals and other opportunities to perform also exist.

Instrument Donations (in good condition) are graciously accepted. Contact Music Director, Susan Dietrich-Reed for more information.  Instruments in good condition (needing a tune up is OK) are always accepted for our Inventory. They are used for zoos, student loaners, for students that aren’t able to rent/purchase their own instrument. It’s much better for an instrument to be played than sitting in a case, attic, basement unused.

Please review our Music Policies and Guidelines.

Payments can be made by cash, check, auto-debit, credit or debit card (with service fee).
